Do I need to be home when the maid arrives?
You do not need to be home. We have updated our policy due to COVID-19 to ensure that we keep our teams and our clients safe. Please view the COVID-19 rules at COVID-19 POLICY.
How do I pay?
We only accept online payments- No cash. No checks. We will simply have keep your card information on file and charge only after each cleaning visit.
Does someone have to visit my house before I can book a cleaning?
Absolutely not! We wouldn’t want pushy sales people coming to our house so we would never do that to you. You can get a quote and book your cleaning online. It takes about one minute. Simply fill out our form at www.maidjoy.com/order-page
Are cleaning supplies included?
Cleaning supplies aren’t included by default. This ensures your cleaner uses the products you like and there isn’t any cross-contamination from house to house.
However, if you don’t have supplies, we can bring them for an additional charge of $10 per visit ($15 for move-in/out cleanings).
What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?
Please get in touch with us within 24hr of the visit and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?
we don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can often meet this requirement. Please contact us by phone for instant assistance.
DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION OR LOCK OUT FEE?
We work hard to keep our teams on schedule throughout the day. Should you not be able to have us assist you on a certain day, please contact us within 24 hours of the visit to reschedule. We do charge a $30.00 lock out fee. The fee is only billed when the team arrives at your home and are not able to enter the home due to any issue not of our doing.
DOES MY CLEANER ARRIVE AT THE EXACT TIME I BOOK?
Yes, most of the time. However, we allow a one-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.
WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?
You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. Your invoice will reflect only the date of visit as well as the service you signed up for.
DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
No, you can cancel service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or pre-determined number of appointments. We are an as-you-go service.
